The Story
Oak Grove Panthers - Loretta
In the beginning, I made a mistake. I invited my wife at the time to be in this league. At the time it seemed ok but it went downhill fast. She has been playing FF since 1997. She won our 1st Super Bowl and won her division once. Might have been the last time she won anything. I had been accused of running her team but that wasn't the case until the last season she played in the league, so I dropped her. She played 4 seasons with us until 2009. Then I got rid of her altogether. She was 2-0 in the Playoffs by getting to the postseason her 1st and only year. She got less wins every year. She was 38-38 during the regular season. Loretta had a Defensive Rookie of the Year (Clay Matthews). She is in the record books with a win in the closest game by beating Creston by .05 points. In 2010 she was gone for good, fantasy league and my life. She still lives in Florida, a trailer park, last I heard. Probably with 15 cats.
Paisley Panthers
Derek -
He lives in England. He went 17-40 during the 3 seasons with us (2010-12) and never made a Playoff appearance. Derek did make a Jamarcus Russel Bowl but didn't get the trophy. Somehow he holds a record for a player with the Most Points in a Game (Doug "Muscle Hampster" Martin). This team is on a 5 year drought of Playoffs with the 2 Panthers. He is in the record books with a win in the closest game by beating Creston by .05 points.
Lake Shore Shorians - Louden
In 2013, Larry(Sandusky) brought his son along to join the league. He didn't post too much. Sometimes he had to be reminded that he was in the league, but stuck with us until 2017. He lives in Florida still. During his 5 year run, he made the Playoffs twice finishing 2-2 and making it to Super Bowl 8 with a loss to Simi Valley. He won an Offensive Rookie Award is Season 9 (Kelvin Benjamin). In Season 10, he brought home the Jamarcus Russell trophy. In 5 seasons, 3 of them were winning records. He totaled a 51-44 record during his time. Did he have help?
Ridge Bolts
Chase - From 1 son to another, Chase takes over for his brother. He also lives in Florida. Which brother is better? I guess we will find out. Chase won the OROY (Najee Harris) award in Season 16. He is 79-73 since joining the league with 2 playoff losses. He has several achievements. MVP with QB Jalen Hurts, 3 Manager of the Year awards, Most Points in Season with Jalen Hurts, and Most Points in Game with WR Tyreek Hill. Overall, he is in 15th in wins.
