The Story
Roosevelt Rough Riders
Troy - He is a friend of Sandusky and joined us in 2014. The 1st 3 years were rough, maybe because of IDP or previous owners trades but Troy got the team back on track and into the Playoffs in 2017. He made it to the Jamarcus Russell Bowl and lost in 2016 while winning the Manager of the Year. He won the Barry Division and had the best record in 2018 but couldn't get it done in the Playoffs. Troy is a quiet owner but has built a competitive team. He added a DROY award with Micah Parsons and Ivan Pace and OROY with QB Jayden Daniels. Troy has had his ups and downs from Fewest Wins in a season and most consecutive losses to making it to the Cathedral Bowl in 2025. Overall with wins, he is in 13th place.
Kimball Knights
Kevin - He came in for Storm Lake in 2013 and brought this team back to the Playoffs. He only played 1 season as well but finished 14-5, won his division, took it back to the Playoffs, only to lose in his 1st game to Simi Valley. Another 1 and done.
Storm Lake Tornadoes
Nick - He lives in Kansas City, Missouri and had been in several leagues with me. I hesitated to bring him into the league because he is a little whiney but he is active and is a winner. He took over the team in 2012. 1 year in the league and took a 5 year Playoff team to the bottom. IDP was too much for him. Nick finished 7-12 and left.
Vincennes Lincoln Alices -
Carl - He lives in Indiana and has been playing since 1999. I'm sure there is a conspiracy theory about it. Always complaining about someone cheating. Lol. He was a valuable part of the league for his time in it. He helped with voting and had lots of opinions that helped make the league what it is today. He made the Playoffs 5 out of the 6 years (2006-2011) in the league with a 2-4 postseason record and a SuperBowl victory over Central. Carl only had 1 losing season and a 75-39 overall record. Good for a .658 winning %. Carl had the MVP in 2008(Drew Brees) and the Manager of the Year Award in the same year. He played in too many leagues. I don't know how he could do it. I remember him telling me that he was in like 50+ leagues. He was totally for the offensive side of the ball and barely paid much attention to the IDP. Pain in the ass owner but was competitive. Liked to argue but it created a fun competitive league and brought owners together to see what would happen next.
